300W Infrared Quartz Bulb for keeping food warm under the hot pass. Jacketed design greatly increases safety at food outlets and is highly recommended for catering environments. The outer jacket surrounding the infrared bulb minimises the chance of any glass falling into food if the bulb becomes accidentally damaged or broken.
Our infrared lamps are also known as low pressure tungsten halogen heat-lamps. The filament is tungsten surrounded by a halogen dosed gas and encapsulated in a transparent quartz glass sleeve. These lamps have a short wave infrared output and heat by direct radiation the object in the path of the energy. Standard R7 push in fitting is easy to be installed or replaced without an engineer
