  3. Automatic Tracking On Our Website

    3. Contained within our website is tracking code provided by Lead Forensics.       3. Microsoft Corporation (whose services are based in the USA). 
  8. Business Leasing
    1. Where you choose to use our website to apply for business leasing, we will share the information you provide with one or more of our preferred finance partners in order to consider your business leasing proposal:

    2. We will only share this information if you have completed our business leasing form, or used the business leasing option during checkout.
    3. Our representative or a representative from one of our partners may need to contact you to confirm or obtain further information to help process your business leasing information.
    4. All the information you provide will be used for the purpose of obtaining a quotation for business leasing on your behalf. This may involve carrying out credit and/or fraud prevention checks on the individuals or organisation concerned and this may leave a credit footprint.   9. Retention 
    1. The criteria used to determine how long we will keep your data depends on its relation to a contractual agreement with us (E.g. whether you become a customer or not).
    2. Personal information required to fulfil the obligations of any contract you (or a business that you are associated with) holds with us will be retained for 7 years after the contract has come to an end. This is a requirement to fulfil our contractual, legal and regulatory obligations. 
    3. Personal information that does not relate to a contract (for example, enquiries, proformas and quotes where a sale is not made) will be retained for a maximum of 2 years. 
    4. Personal data that is stored in log files and statistics and captured by automated means will be retained for a maximum of 2 years since your last visit to our websites or use of our IT services.
  10. Security 
    1. We will never record any credit or debit card information in our systems. All payments you make through our websites or over the phone are processed by our third-party payments Sage Pay Europe Limited (“Sage Pay”) and are made so in line with the Payments Card Industry Data Security Standard (“PCI-DSS”). 
    2. Where any personal information is stored or transmitted, we will ensure adequate safeguards are in place to protect your data and the risk it pertains, for example:
      1. by deploying industry-standard technical measures such as encryption or firewalls;
      2. Locking away paper records when not in use and; 
      3. Ensuring the secure destruction of information when no longer required.

Whilst we are committed to taking appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised loss, destruction, damage and misuse, by agreeing to this policy you acknowledge that we cannot guarantee the security of your data, as the transmission of information over the internet or public communications networks (post, telephone, internet) is never completely secure.
