Global Classic G-12 Meat Chopping Knife 16cm
The Global G series of knives are Global ‘s classic collection of larger, longer bladed knives with weighted hollow handles. The Global G range knives all have Global’s famous Chromova18 blades and are sharpened to a 15 degree angle.
The Global G range contains extremely diverse knives. There are 12 different chef’s knives alone in the range constituting a number of different sizes and shapes including the award winning G-2, which has been feature in numerous publications and won many awards. Within the G range you will also find; vegetable choppers, Santoku knives, filleters, bread and slicing knives. There is a knife literally for any and every purpose. Many of these knives have multiple size options available and fluted varieties.
Global knives are supposed to be refined, delicate instruments for preparing food to exact specifications.... not the meat cleaver. It has one real purpose, to smash through bones to cut up portions of meat. The Global meat cleaver features a longer blade and thicker steel than ordinary G range knives to handle the repeated blows of going through bone and onto a hard cutting surface. Compared to most Global knives, it is the only knife which should be swung down like a hammer. Useful for preparing cuts of chicken, creating lamb chops or spare ribs. You can also use one of these knives for particularly heavy vegetables like butternut squash or pumpkin, where a smaller knife might get stuck. The G-12 also comes with a traditional hole in the blade to be hung on hook above a butcher's table.

Delivery Info
- Delivery is free on all orders over £50 (Inc. VAT)
- For orders below £50, we offer two standard delivery charges, including next-day delivery from £6.49 (ex vat) and an economy small parcel 48-hour service from £3.79 (ex vat).
- Items fulfilled from our UK distribution centre are mostly dispatched the same day, if ordered before 2PM. Some items can take longer (such as those sent directly from the manufacturer) so we recommend reviewing the lead time badge on each product page.
- We may consolidate small items together into a single package. This might mean that item(s) you order may be held until your entire order is ready.
- All orders are sent tracked delivery. We will email you when goods are dispatched, and the couriers tracking details are included. If you enter a mobile number during checkout, we will also text any tracking details or order updates to you.
- When shipping large appliances & bulk orders, we normally send items on a pallet. Unless specified otherwise, these deliveries are kerbside only.
